School Council

Here at Our Lady of Lourdes, we believe it is very important for ALL children to have a voice and to feel as though their views and opinions count.

The school council is a group of children elected by their peers in the Autumn term to represent the voice and the views of the children in the school; each class has two school council representatives.

The school council meet regularly to suggest ways of improving the school and to discuss issues raised by the children in their classes. The minutes of the school council meetings can be found on the Pupil Noticeboard next to the dining room in the school.
